WELCOME TO ASYLEX

AsyLex is a non-profit organization located in Switzerland providing legal advice to asylum seekers.
It is our vision that every asylum seeker in Switzerland knows the basics of the asylum procedure, is aware of the criteria for asylum and has access to legal advice at any time.

FAMILY REUNIFICATION

If you don't have a lawyer, AsyLex can support and advise you in different steps of the Swiss asylum procedure and asylum law in general. For example, we can write an appeal or make a hardship request if you have a negative decision from SEM. Further, we can advise you under which circumstances and how to change your permit and we can help you to prepare for your interview with SEM.

For more information, watch our YouTube video or visit our FAQ or our Handout.

The AsyLex Detention Team can provide legal advice on administrative detention and representation to asylum seekers directly, or to a friend or a family member who is currently detained.

We will examine the legality of your detention, we will explain the reasons and we will represent you in court.

You can write an email to the AsyLex Detention Team or, if you are client who is in custody, you can give us a call at our emergency telephone number.

The goal of family reunification is to have children and spouses transferred to Switzerland, where the other family member(s) already live.

For any family-related legal or administrative questions, feel free to write an email to the AsyLex Family Reunification Team.

Besides these topics, AsyLex has several specialised teams focusing, among others, on Criminal Law, Social Law, the Dublin Procedure and International Litigation.
